Cover reveal!

I hope you're well and that 2022 is being kind to you, so far. I can't believe it's the end of January already.

It's been a while since I posted something in my News and Views but I'm going to try to rectify that this year (famous last words!) and post on a more regular basis. Let's see how that goes, shall we? 🤣

Anyhoo… I've got a new book coming out in March and I thought you'd like to see the cover and read the blurb.

So without further ado, here's the stunning cover. Ta dah!

Isn't it beautiful? I'd love to sail away on that luxury motor yacht to somewhere warm. Although the sun is shining here today and with the heating on in my office, I can pretend I'm in the Med or somewhere equally lovely.

That's the good thing about using our imagination, isn't it? We can be anywhere we want to be just by closing our eyes and pretending. Or by opening a book and getting lost in the pages of the story.

I hope when you read my new book it will take you wherever you want to go, but in the meantime, here's the blurb so you'll know what the story is about.

Broken Hearts and Fresh Starts at Cove Café

Marian's life isn't working out as she'd hoped. She's been secretly in love with one man for most of it; now he's met 'The One', leaving Marian on her own. But that isn't her only problem. She's struggling to pay the bills for her business, Cove Café, and serious trouble is brewing.

Marian needs a miracle. Without that, her café will have to close. All she'll have then is a broken heart, a dwindling bank balance, and secrets she's trying to hide.

Parker's making a fresh start. He's been planning this for years and he's finally on his way. Soon, he'll be cruising the balmy waters of the Med with his wealthy clients, as the captain of his own, luxury motor yacht. But as he navigates the English Channel, a storm is already looming.

Parker doesn't need severe weather forcing him to find a safe harbour. Or his crew threatening to leave. His dream of a 'new life' is at risk of running aground.

'Ask the Universe, and it will provide', Marian's gran always said. And right now, asking the Universe might be Marian's only hope … and probably Parker's, too.

This is book 2 in the Clementine Cove series, but each book can be read as a standalone.

I had so much fun writing this book and I really hope you enjoy it. Although it's book 2 in a series, both books are standalones so you honestly don't need to have read book 1 – Christmas at Clementine Cottage. There are snippets of back story in book 2 which should give you all you need to understand how the characters in book 1 relate to this book. I'm not saying you shouldn't read Christmas at Clementine Cottage, of course. In fact I'd love it if you do. But please don't feel you 'must'.

Broken Hearts and Fresh Starts at Cove Café is available to pre-order now and will be released in March. Here's the universal pre-order link: mybook.to/CoveCafe

There's an interactive map of Clementine Cove on my Map page, so you can see where everyone lives. You can even print out the map if you like, but as there's a map at the front of each ebook and paperback, you don't really need to.

And if you pop over to my Open House page, you'll find some games you can play for free in my Games Room. Just follow the links on that page.

 Love and best wishes,
